 主讲教师：Kalyanmoy Deb 人气：8153 更新时间: 2015年12月01日 Abstract:Manyproblemsinpracticeareideallyposedasamulti-objectiveoptimizationproblem,duetosimultaneousinclusionofmultipleconflictingcriteriaindefiningaproblem.Despitethetraditionalemphasisonscalarizationmethodsofcombiningmultipleobjectivesintoasingleaggregateone,itisadifficulttotasktocombinetwoormorecriteria,suchasfabricationcostandenvironmentdamage,intoasinglefunctioninanordinalmanner.Startedinearlynineties,evolutionarymulti-objectiveoptimization(EMO)methodsutilizedmultipleobjectivesasavectoranddemonstratedtosolvemanytwoandthree-objectiveproblemswithatwo-stepstrategy:(i)firstfindasetoftrade-offefficientsolutions,and(ii)theninvolveadecision-makertochooseasinglepreferredsolution.Thisphilosophyhasrevolutionizedtheactofmulti-objectiveoptimizationsincethenandresultedinthedevelopmentofacomputingfieldinvolvingtheoreticalcomputerscientists,computationalscience,andengineering.ThespeakerhasbeeninvolvedinthegrowthoftheEMOfieldrightfromthebeginning.InthisIEEEDistinguishedLecture,thespeakerwilldiscussthedevelopmentofEMOfieldandalsohighlightsomerecentadvances,sothelectureisusefultobothnew-comersandEMOresearchersalike.
